As a starting point, I would like to say that it is a true belief of mine that what one fights for is true statement of their character. A person does not simply risk their physical and emotional well being for something they could care less about. A person will fight for something or someone or someplace that is truly dear to them.
Some quotes of love. Some quotes to ponder. Some quotes to accept. Some quotes to hold on to.
This week (with an upcoming Valentine’s day) I found it fitting to talk of self appreciation. Many find bitterness and loneliness when Valentines day come around. These people tend to be upset and feel as if they might never find someone. These feelings can stem from under appreciation and low self esteem. You must realize that before you can ever enter a long lasting relationship, you have to be comfortable and loving towards yourself. How else could someone love and care for you if you aren’t doing that same action? This being said you should never be egotistical and ONLY care for yourself, but loving and valuing who you are is major factor in being happy and finding someone worth your time. Don’t be afraid. There is someone for everyone. In the meantime, work on loving yourself and being comfortable with who you are.
Life can be stressful. Life can be hard. Life can be upsetting. Life can just honestly…be awful. Despite what life hands out though, it is imperative to have happiness. It is absolutely necessary to enjoy your life. Without the intention of living to strive for happiness, one can go insane. A dull, boring, and sad life is the result of one without happiness. One way to achieve happiness in life is by simply laughing. Not sweating the small stuff. Going through your day turning all your anger of pointless things into bits of laughter.
